Golden Lotus School of Yoga
This is the Yoga school i became a yoga teacher through and had the immense blessing of being commissioned to create a fresh new logo after 45 years of using the previous one. GLYTA is Michigan’s oldest yoga school started by Yogacharya Oliver Black with roots to the 1930s when Mr Black met Sri Paramahansa Yogananda. A school affiliated with the Song of the Morning Yoga Retreat in Vanderbilt MI.
Solanus Casey Center and The Capuchin Soup Kitchen Detroit
A photo from the day i delivered this commissioned painting of the Blessed Father Solanus Casey to the St. Bonaventure Monastery in Detroit home of the Solanus Casey Center. The art was kept on display for six months next to the beatified priests relics in the monastery before moving permanently to the famous soup kitchen nearby. A site of many many miraculous healings and a monument of peace and tolerance.

Global Rastafari HeART Book Volumes 1,2&3!
Over 2023 and early 2024 I have been published three times in an effort to support artists influenced by the Rastafari Movement. Artists from around the world have been collaborating under the efforts of King Jahsiah.

I am being published in a book compiling Rastafari art from around the world by these incredible folks. I have also donated artworks for the preservation of this important historical building. The Fairfield House was the residence of Emperor Haile Selassie I during the Italian occupation of Ethiopia in the 1930s. His Majesty endeared himself to many people who met him in those days.

I had the honor of displaying and selling my art at the Detroit Grand Prix on Belle Isle in Detroit. I ended up meeting the Andretti Team who all signed the back of my portrait of Mario Andretti. This included Mario Andretti, his grandson, their team and 2016 Indy 500 winner Alexander Rossi.
Dally in the Alley Detroit
Dally in the Alley is Detroit ‘s largest annual community festival, located in the Cass Corridor district (the north end, close to Wayne State University) in Detroit. Completely organized and executed by a team of community volunteers, “The Dally” gives an offering of live music, visual arts, performance, food and beer.

The Influence of Detroit
The amazing, cultured, industrious, creative, hard-edged, spiritual, lion hearted people of Detroit have been an intense influence in my life. My family has been in and around the city since the 1920s and i feel a proud connection. Pictured here is Negus Arubis and Jah Pancho two forces of potent African wisdom and lifestyle. I give thanks for the friendship of good people like this.

Getting What You Always Wanted!
This happy guy happens to be my brother and he had been asking for years for a portrait of Sting. He’s also a sci-fi fan so i combined the best of two worlds showing Sting in his monumental roll as Feyd-Rautha in David Lynch’s version of Dune in 1984. Christmas was the perfect opportunity to gift him this.

Art Class in the Hills of Jamaica
Art class time in St D’Acre Jamaica a small village in the hills of St Annes Parrish. These young kids were great friends and one of them Markash seen in red shorts has gone on to become a great lawyer and leader in his country. These kids blessed me!
