Sunny is a professional artist with over 25 years of experience creating soulful, story-rich portraits of people, pets, and spiritual icons. His work draws from a deep well of cultural, mystical, and symbolic imagery, infused with the aesthetics of 20th century global music, mysticism, yogic philosophy, Caribbean culture, and world traditions.
Trained in illustration, oil, acrylic, watercolor, and digital tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop), he specializes in:

His journey has taken him around the world, from teaching and exhibiting to leading international spiritual and art retreats. He recently completed a three-month pilgrimage across Europe, creating works like the Hare at the Glastonbury Tor and a modern icon of St. Brigid. He was published in England in The Rastafari HeArt Book Vol. 1–3, and his murals can be seen in businesses like Plaza Antiques in Lincoln Park, Earthbound Remedies in Ann Arbor and private homes around Michigan.
He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Minor in African Art History from Wayne State University in Detroit, an Associate Degree in Graphic Design from Washtenaw Community College, and a TESOL certification from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He teaches figure and portrait art at the Northville Art House, and brings experience in public speaking, social media marketing, and web design.
He is passionate about multiculturalism, spiritual storytelling, and bringing people together through visual art. He is available to help individuals, small businesses or creative teams transform ideas into stunning, meaningful imagery.
